Josie’s is a family owned neighborhood restaurant located in the Chevy Chase area of Lexington Kentucky. Created by the previous owners of Merrick Inn, Josie’s was designed as a comfortable and welcoming café where guests can enjoy breakfast and lunch in a relaxed setting. The restaurant focuses on friendly service, familiar food, and a sense of Southern hospitality.

The Story Behind Josie’s

Josie’s was named after the owners’ daughter, while some of the menu items were named after her brothers. The restaurant was created with the idea of bringing a comfortable neighborhood café experience to Chevy Chase. Josie’s also focuses on preparing much of its food from scratch, including its own corned beef and daily made burgers, while using farm fresh eggs and hand grated cheese.

The restaurant features a horseshoe shaped counter that encourages conversation and offers a relaxed setting for breakfast and lunch.
